Summer Company
 
 
 
Summer Company is an Ontario government program for students between the ages 15 & 29 and returning to school inthe fall to start their own business over the summer. Adam Pakozdi owns Mary Lake Contracting offering yard maintenance as well as deck and dock repairs.

SUMMER COMPANY 2013 WRAPPED UP

 

On August 28th, the 2013 Muskoka Summer Company participants met and did a final wrapped up. This year's participants were:

Jesse McLeod, Jurassic Ice Cream
Claire Poole, The Muskoka Dog
Victoria Primeau, Magpie Café

Although the summer is over, a couple of our participants will continue to run their businesses. Jesse McLeod, the owner of Jurassic Ice Cream will continue to run his ice cream cart on weekends at Kirby's Beach for the month of September. Suzanne Hunter of The Gadget will continue to run her business online at www.thegadget.ca during the school year.

 

Many of our participants are planning on running their business next summer so everyone can watch out for these entrepreneurs.
